  • ESOL: supporting the family to learn English

  • Supporting the children to practise their English

  • Supporting adults to improve their numeracy

  • Playing with children whilst adults learn or attend appointments

  • Social Welfare and Finance: supporting the family to apply for benefits, advocate if necessary

  • Community Outreach: building useful relationships or partnerships in the community

  • Fundraising: helping us raise money to support the refugee family

  • Communications: social media, newsletters, website, and so on

  • Safeguarding: helping to implement our safeguarding procedures, supporting family to keep safe

  • Computer skills: helping family members acquire computer skills

  • Admin: organising family support team visits, and project reports

  • Health: supporting family to access health services

  • Accommodation: preparing the house for the family’s arrival

  • Befriending: providing support to navigate the local community, social support, mentorship

  • Driving: taking family members to appointments

  • Employment: supporting the family to volunteer and find work

  • Interpreters: translating for the family (they are most likely to be Arabic speaking)

  • Practical jobs, such as: painting the house, driving to collect donations,

       helping at events and so on. Please specify:
